G.R.E.A.T. Volunteers and their Goldens enjoyed a day of cool breezes and sunshine at
the 2009 Dogtoberfest event. Entering its seventh year, Dogtoberfest is the main
fundraising event for First Coast No More Homeless Pets.  This year's event was held
at beautiful Metropolitan Park on the St. John's River.

Dogtoberfest features a costume contest, Carnival midway, and fundraising trick-or-treat
walk.  It is an opportunity for families and individuals to have fun with their pets while
raising money for our vital spay/neuter programs, and to help end the needless killing of
cats and dogs in our community!
