Thank your for your interest in
adopting a G.R.E.A.T. Golden. G.R.E.A.T. Rescue of NE Florida, Inc. is an ALL
VOLUNTEER organization, and those who volunteer on its behalf must juggle
personal lives, families, jobs, homes, etc., in order to provide quality time
to our beloved rescued Goldens and their future families.
When submitting an application, please:
* * * Allow 10-14 days for your application to be
evaluated and processed. * * *
You will be contacted when our review is complete
* * * Provide ALL information, including ALL phone and fax numbers * * *
* * * Do NOT bombard us with emails and phone calls. * *

This takes away from our time devoted to rescuing dogs and approving
applicants.
* * * Do consider a dog other than your first choice. *

Most families ask for young females, therefore, if you refuse to widen your
options, your wait will be longer. Considering a male or senior female will
bring a wonderful Golden into your heart and home sooner and provide just as
much joy, devotion and love.
After you have received an approval from GREAT, you will be placed on a waiting list. Our goal is to place the right Golden with the right family; not all GREAT Goldens are appropriate for everyone and based upon the input of our Rescue Veterinarians, Foster Families and Rescue Board Members, the final placement decision belongs to GREAT.
